All Falmouth Trails Temporarily Closed for mud season

🚨 All Falmouth trails are temporarily closed! 🚨

Between the freeze/thaw cycle and more rain, the trails are cooking up a lot of mud. We close trails to reduce damage during this mucky time of year. Please respect these limited-time closures so the trails can dry out and be ready for use sooner rather than later.

Land Trusts Protect Twice as Much Land in Maine as State Parks and Public Lands Do

Maine’s nonprofit land trusts collectively conserve more than 12% of the state, providing over 2.34 million acres of publicly accessible land, more than 1000 miles of recreational trails, critical wildlife habitat, managed forests, and working waterfronts and farms.

FLT is proud to contribute to these efforts through 40+ years of protecting forests, farms, fields, and waterways in Falmouth. Watch this mini-doc to learn more about our work!
