Exploring Bird Habitat Through Native Shrubs with Wild Seed Project

Join Emily Baisden, Wild Seed Project's Seed Program Manager, and FLT staff at Morrill-Stillings Bird Sanctuary for an interactive program about the importance of native shrubs in creating bird habitat. Come learn about and identify native shrubs around the property, and dive deep into the supportive relationships between these shrubs and specific species of birds. Leave this program feeling inspired to plant native shrubs to attract and support birds in the areas you live, work, and play.

We will be walking around the trails, looking at shrubs and looking for birds, so come hiking ready, with comfortable shoes, layers, and the tick-prevention strategy that works for you.

This program is free, but registration is requested so we can know how many people are coming.
