History

Abutting the town-owned River Point Conservation Area, this major component of a conservation and trail corridor has 4200 feet of frontage on the East and West Branches of the Piscataqua River and was acquired in 2007.

Habitat

Riparian woodland and meadows that periodically flood provide monarch butterfly and amphibian habitat. Willow and Alder dominate wetter soils, and oak dominates in drier soils. This property has the potential habitat to host deer, wood turtles, and cottontails.
