Ribbon- Cutting Ceremony at Morrill- Stillings Farm

Falmouth Land Trust is celebrating it’s newest conserved property: Morrill- Stillings Farm. Join us at a ribbon-cutting ceremony to honor this newly established nature preserve. A hike that will include information about the history of Morrill- Stillings Farm will commence shortly after the ceremony.

Location: When traveling North on Blackstrap Road in North Falmouth, take a left onto Babbidge Road at the intersection of Blackstrap Road and Babbidge Road. A Falmouth Land Trust Event sign will be at this intersection. Keep following Babbidge Road for roughly 0.2 miles until you see a Falmouth Land Trust Event sign on your left. A representative will be there to help navigate parking.  Please leave pets at home.

 Please consider carpooling, parking space is limited.

Hardy Hikers is a regular outing with trained master naturalists and other skilled volunteers on local conservation properties. 

Saturday, October 19th at 10:15 am @ Morrill-Stillings Farm,  with Susan Gilpin, Ron Dupuis, Polly Haight Frawley, Margaret Sobol, Marion Sprague and Emilie Swenson all Maine Master Naturalists (MMNs).

Enjoy a hike around our newest property, Morrill-Stillings Farm. Learn the history and alleviate stress under the guidance of the Falmouth Land Trust and trained Maine Master Naturalist guides.

Location: When traveling North on Blackstrap Road in North Falmouth, take a left onto Babbidge Road at the intersection of Blackstrap Road and Babbidge Road. Guided Hikes

Please join us for the 4th annual Green Friday Walk (the day after Thanksgiving). We'll meet at McCrann 1 Preserve at 1:00 pm and enjoy an easy hike along the trails (for approximately 1 hour), make new friends and be home in time for those leftovers. Bring the whole family along for this free hike on a favorite Falmouth Land Trust property.

Friday, November 29th: 1:00pm- 2:30pm @ McCrann 1 Preserve, Falmouth.

Location: Meet at McCrann 1 Preserve kiosk off of Falmouth Road, Falmouth.

Farm Fest!

Falmouth Land Trust is hosting its annual celebration of conservation and open space in Falmouth. Enjoy an evening of wine, beer & local food and invite your friends to join you at gorgeous Hurricane Valley Farm, complete with a beautiful sunset, twinkling stars, a rising moon, and a bright bonfire.

MUSIC, FOOD, FARM TOURS.

KIDS ACTIVITIES (from 5:00 - 6:30) includes leaf printing, scarecrow making, pumpkin painting and goats to learn about and pet.

Blackstrap Off Road Classic

Join Baxter Outdoors at the Blackstrap Preserve on Saturday, July 20 in Falmouth, ME for a fun, challenging trail race, close to home. This 5km trail run will take place mostly on single track, multipurpose trails and will be followed with snacks and BYOB cool down beers for all racers over 21.
