Cross Falmouth Trail Challenge

The Cross Falmouth Trail is an 11.5 mile trail built and maintained by the Town of Falmouth and FLT that connects conserved land and open space properties in Falmouth. FLT is hosting its first-ever Cross Falmouth Trail Challenge to encourage trail users to explore this impressive trail network that begins at River Point Conservation Area and ends at North Falmouth Community Forest.

Here’s how to complete the Challenge:

  1. Walk, hike, bike, or run between 6/1 (National Trails Day!) & 10/31

  2. Send us 4 selfies of your group from along the journey (with blue trail markers or trailhead kiosks visible)

  3. Get your free treat at Bam Bam Bakery!

Details:

Send one email with four trail photos to info@falmouthlandtrust.org - we will assume permission to publish photos unless you state otherwise. FLT will email you e-gift certificates for each group member to redeem for one small item at Bam Bam Bakery in Falmouth. This trail crosses private land in places - be respectful and stay on the trail.

Option 1 (for experienced hikers and mountain bikers): Explore the entire blue-blazed trail, all at once or in segments

Option 2 (for families and more casual trail users): Explore these four properties which contain sections of the Cross Falmouth Trail:

  • River Point Conservation Area (no pets allowed)

  • Community Park/Town Forest

  • Hadlock Community Forest

  • Blackstrap Hill Preserve and Community Forest
