Monument dedication and trail walk: Underwood Springs Forest Preserve

Please join us to dedicate the donor monument and walk the trails at Underwood. The walk will be led by a Maine Master Naturalist. There will be cupcakes - while supplies last!

The beautiful stone monument is a testament to how many community members supported this project and ensured that a lovely forest, with its brooks and springs, would be forever protected for all to enjoy. As it was installed during the winter, we wanted to wait until spring to gather.

We will meet at the trailhead - adjacent parking is available at the Friends School just over the Cumberland line on Route One. We will be there rain or shine. The trail is generally level but there are a couple of steps and moderate slopes where some folks might find walking poles useful.

This event is free and open to all. Please email aperry@falmouthlandtrust.org to register.
