Join Maine Master Naturalists for a vernal pool exploration at Woods Road Community Forest (34 Woods Road, Falmouth)! Come learn about these amazing bodies of water and how they’re used by frogs, salamanders, and fairy shrimp. Hopefully there will be some egg masses to observe!

The parking lot can only accommodate 4-5 cars, but there is parking available along the side of the road and across the street at the Woodlands Country Club (39 Woods Road, Falmouth). It will be a 3-5 minute walk from the Woodlands parking area back to the trailhead, so give yourself a few extra minutes if you plan to park there.
