From I-295 South take exit 9 towards Falmouth Foreside. Keep right onto Veranda Street. Continue on US-1 N for approximately three-quarter miles and turn right onto Andrews Ave. Continue another three-quarter miles over the causeway to the State Park entrance.

Property Description

The 1.5 mile island-walk circles the 100-acre island. The Baxter School for the Deaf is located on the island; please keep to the perimeter pathway and do not interfere with school activities.

History

The property was donated to the State of Maine by former Governor Percival Baxter in 1946.
