Trail Distance and Description: 1.5 mile trail system; trails wind through the park and generally have a hardened stable surface with leaf litter and pine straws. The Red Pine trail (red blazes) has a steep slope as it goes down towards Route 1. The rest of the trails stay at generally the same elevation and contain some roots.

Property Uses: Hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and nature study are all allowed. Motorized vehicles are prohibited. Trails are not wheelchair accessible.
Additional Directions: From US Route 1 North: turn right onto Foreside Rd (Rte 88). Continue approximately 1/3 miles (past Pine Grove School) to the unpaved parking lot and trailhead on the left.
Property Description: Pine Grove Preserve is a 27-acre mature pine forest with several connecting trails and war monuments. Trails are mostly shaded and often contain roots.
Cautions: Deer ticks are common; care must be taken to avoid Lyme disease.
