Additional Directions: From I-95 take exit 53 and turn right onto Gray Rd (Rte 100/26). Continue on Gray Rd for approximately 1 mile and turn left onto Summit St. Continue for 1 mile and turn left onto Allen Ave. Continue on Allen Ave for approximately ¼ mile and turn right onto Ledgewood Drive. Continue ½ mile to the unpaved parking lot on the left.
General Information: This forested parcel has a trail network that connects via the power line to Ledges Preserve and Portland Trails’ Ocean Ave dog park. Pleasant Hill Woods was preserved through a neighborhood conservation effort.
There are two kiosks with trail maps and additional information: one set in the woods as you enter the preserve from the power line trail (from the Ledgewood Rd trailhead), and one set in the woods on the Blake (blue) Trail when entering from Daniels Way. Please note that the Daniels Way trailhead is temporarily closed.
History: Pleasant Hill Woods has been a community staple for multiple generations. Community trails between neighboring homes have been long established by families. The town previously owned PHW and granted it to the Falmouth Land Trust as a community park.
